The Horse Trust will be the official charity for the Fidelity Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials (6-9 September 2012). The Princes Risborough-based charity offers sanctuary to working horses that have spent their lives serving their country or community and to equines that have been neglected.
Following on from the success of Blenheim’s hugely popular AmTrust Eventers High Jump (in which some riders have chosen to jump the fence without a saddle in order to gain an extra ‘life to stay in the competition’) the event has taken up the suggestion from the riders themselves to host a bareback showjumping class.
Fidelity Worldwide Investments has extended its title sponsorship of the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials for the next three years allowing the organisers to re-invest in some new fences, improve the going and introduce other enhancements for this year’s running (6-9 September 2012).
The Dodson & Horrell Riding and Pony Club Team Eventer Challenges, which run alongside the feature international horse trials classes at The Fidelity Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials (6-9 September 2012) were both over-subscribed within 24 hours of entries opening, at the beginning of March.
