Cross-country course walks in aid of Headway Oxfordshire
Would you like to walk the cross-country course at the SsangYong Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials (13th - 17th September 2017) with a top rider?
On the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this year’s horse trials – 13th, 14th and 15th September – the event is offering members of the public the chance to gain a fascinating insight from top competitors about how to ride the cross-country tracks.
The course walks are in aid of the event’s nominated charity for 2017, Headway Oxfordshire, which is an independent local charity that provides specialist information, advice and support to anyone in the county affected by an acquired brain injury (ABI), including stroke, traumatic brain injury and a range of neurological conditions.
Event Director Mandy Hervieu said: “The SsangYong Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials is renowned for its stunning parkland setting and its interesting and challenging cross-country courses. This is a unique chance to get close to our exciting and demanding fences, and learn how the very best riders prepare for and tackle our cross-country tracks, while making a donation to a very worthwhile cause.”
Tickets for the walks cost £20 per person, which should be bought in addition to event tickets, which start from just £8.
