Tickets are now on sale for the SsangYong Blenheim Palace Horse Trials (13th-16th September) – one of the highlights of Britain’s autumn equestrian calendar.
The horse trials takes place in the stunning grounds of Blenheim Palace and features both the prestigious British championship for eight- and nine-year-old horses and one of Europe’s most highly regarded CCI3* competitions. In addition, there are very well-supported classes for amateur riders and a host of other activities, attractions and entertainments.
As part of the organisers’ continual quest to improve visitors’ enjoyment of Oxfordshire’s biggest sporting event, some changes to ticket options have been implemented. And anyone who books their tickets for SsangYong Blenheim during the month of May will automatically be entered in a draw to win the value of their tickets back.
Tickets for the fantastic Marlborough Pavilion, which offers ringside viewing and delicious food options in comfortable surroundings, are now better value for money as they are inclusive of entry into the event, forward parking and admission into the Pavilion.
Camping for the duration of the event has always been very popular and sells out. In order to optimise space and improve the experience for campers, two options are now offered – a larger, premier site and the standard-sized camping pitch.
Admission to the SsangYong Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials starts at £14 when booked online.
Event Director Mandy Hervieu said: “After each year’s event we review our stakeholders’ comments to see how we can further improve the event and their experience of the sport. As well as considering new attractions and activities and making sure the delivery of facilities and service is up to standard, we continually assess what the event provides with a view to giving good value for money and delivering a showcase of world-class sport.”
As well as the sporting action, the SsangYong Blenheim Palace Horse Trials features excellent, carefully selected, shopping opportunities. There is a full and varied programme in the Attractions Arena every day, superb children’s entertainment and great food, ranging from locally produced outlets to a range of dining packages.
