2013 Cross Country Course

The 2013 Cross Country course ran in a clockwise direction and incorporated some new fences. The CCI3* course again ran through the Main Marlborough Arena whilst the CIC track provided a challenging but shorter track for the 8 and 9 year old horses.

All CCI Cross Country fences had QR codes in the event programme. These codes linked to the related web page which contains illustrations of the fence, fence measurements and videos of the thoughts of our Course Designer Eric Winter and leading rider Francis Whittington.

The team at CrossCountry App have produced an interactive map for both riders and spectators to use. Riders and spectators can download the free course map which incorporates photographs as well as video and audio commentary. This should enhance spectator appreciation of the exciting challenges set for horse and rider by Eric Winter.

It will enable both to get an insight into the 2013 course which incorporates a modified route and many new and enhanced fences’.
