How to get to Blenheim
Blenheim Palace is situated in the picturesque town of Woodstock, on the A44 Oxford to Evesham road, just 8 miles north-west of Oxford. The Palace is also within easy reach of central London which is around one and a half hours away by car.
Blenheim Palace is easily accessible by road, and is well signposted from the A34 and M40. The postcode for GPS tracking is OX20 1PP. Drivers should follow the event signage, which will direct them to the appropriate gates in accordance with the approved event traffic management system. Please note that satellite navigation systems will not necessarily direct you to the appropriate entrance gate.
Due to road works which are taking place on the Peartree and Cutteslow roundabouts on the A40 we would recommend you look at your proposed route to the SsangYong Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials and if possible avoid the A40 and the A34 southbound as there may be delays.
Call 08457 484950 for rail enquiries. Nearby train stations include Oxford, Oxford Parkway and Bicester. Trains run regularly to these stations from London Paddington and Marylebone, as well as the midlands.
Buses leave London Victoria for Gloucester Green, Oxford approximately every 12 minutes.
The S3 bus service to Woodstock runs every 30 minutes from Oxford train station and Gloucester Green bus station. The service provides a stop at the gates of Blenheim Palace.
