Information for Owners (International Classes)

We hope that many of you are thinking of joining us at the 2019 SsangYong Blenheim Palace Horse Trials and are very much looking forward to welcoming you to Blenheim later this year!

In order to make your visit to Blenheim as easy as possible, please take a few moments to read the following information.

How to get to Blenheim

Blenheim Palace is situated in the picturesque town of Woodstock, on the A44 Oxford to Evesham road, just eight miles north-west of Oxford. The palace is also within easy reach of central London which is around one and a half hours away by car. Owners should use OX20 1UL and follow the yellow AA road signage on approach to the event site. Click here for further details on how to reach Blenheim via road, rail or air.

Accreditation

We use an E-ticketing system. 2019 initial entry E-tickets will be sent to your email address (as registered with the FEI) from our box office company (TicketSrv). E-tickets can be scanned from your phone if you do not have time to print! If you misplace the initial entry E-tickets or do not receive them, you can download a repeat set here.

You will be sent an initial site entry vehicle pass for your car and two initial entry admission E-tickets. This vehicle pass allows access to the event via the Hensington Gate (OX20 1UL). Please ensure you have your tickets with you.

There is a dedicated owners’ car park, which is adjacent to the lorry park. As mentioned above, please use the Hensington Gate (OX20 1UL) to access the event site.

Up to ten additional admission tickets can be booked with a 20% discount via the online owners' ticket hub. The discount code and link to the owners' ticket hub will be provided on this page after entries have been accepted.

Syndicates

Blenheim adheres to the ticketing policy set by international events in relation to tickets for syndicates. Syndicates will receive three pairs of admission tickets and three car passes in initial entry E-ticket format. On arrival, syndicate members should visit the Owners' Liaison Office to collect welcome packs as detailed below. Event information for owners and initial entry E-tickets for syndicates are sent to the primary syndicate member as registered on the FEI database.

Owners' Liaison Office

Once onsite (having gained entry to the event with initial entry E-tickets) owners should visit the Owners' Liaison Office to collect a welcome pack. Welcome packs contain two wristbands and a car pass for use during the remainder of the event. The Owners' Liaison Office is located at the entrance to the lorry park, opposite the owners' car park.  Opening times are:

Tuesday - Thursday | 08:00am - 07:00pm
Friday - Saturday | 08:00am - 06:00pm
Sunday | Closed - collect welcome packs from the Stable Manager's office

Owners, Athletes & Trainers Lounge supported by Saffery Champness - This facility is located next to the main Marlborough Arena collecting ring. It will provide a handy base for those wanting to watch competition preparations and has vistas of the palace's south lawn through which the CCI4*-L cross-country track runs.

Marlborough Pavilion - Owners of horses competing at Blenheim have complimentary access to the ringside Marlborough Pavilion. This pavilion has a private garden from which the activities in the Marlborough Arena may be seen.

British Eventing Members’ Pavilion - BE are providing complimentary access to this facility for owners of horses competing at Blenheim. The pavilion offers superb views of the CCI4*-S dressage arena and both cross-country courses.

Competitors’ Lounge - This marquee, supported by Voltaire Design, offers a place to relax adjacent to the training areas and initial warm up arenas. There is a barista coffee bar and catering facilities are available.

EHOA & HSTG

EHOA and HTSG members are invited to enjoy the Owners, Athletes & Trainers Lounge facility free of charge. Accomodation

There is a dedicated onsite owners’ campsite which is adjacent to the lorry park. This area is managed by a dedicated owners' campsite manager and has loos, showers and elsan facilities exclusively for the use of owners. Space within this area is limited so pitches must be prebooked. Hook up can be provided for £80. Details regarding the booking process will be sent to owners within entry acceptance emails.

There are a range of local accomodation options listed on the 'where to stay' webpage. Click here to browse.

Riverside Pavilions

If you and your guests or fellow owners and supporters would like to be in the thick of the cross-country action, then a riverside pavilion may be the perfect option. These cost effective pavilions offer companies or individuals a private base for entertaining, family celebrations or corporate events. On course dining may typically include a picnic style offering, a cold buffet lunch or barbeque. Click here to find out more and to book.
