The inaugural Retraining of Racehorses dressage championships took place at the SsangYong Blenheim Palace Horse Trials in 2018. They are set to return in 2019 on both Thursday 19th and Friday 20th September. All RoR competition registered horses are eligible to qualify. 2019 classes will be held at prelim, novice, elementary and medium levels.

To qualify, riders must submit three score sheets for the relevant level at the required minimum percentage or above from either affiliated competitions, unaffiliated competitions or both. Score sheets must include the registered name of the horse, have full details regarding date and venue and must be signed by the judge. The qualification is for horse and rider. No substitutes for either horse or rider are allowed.
